The International Association of Lions Clubs, more commonly known as Lions Clubs International, is an international service organization established in 1917 in Chicago, Illinois, by Melvin Jones. The organization is currently headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois.

Lions Club of Kolkata Kasba belongs to Lions Clubs International, Area – ISAMME, Multiple – 322, District 322 B-1, Club Number 145838, a Non Government Organisation is located in Kasba , West Bengal. Kasba Lions Club is a Registered Public Trust with Trust Registration Number IV-1902-00299/2022.

Singh and Lion Sangeeta Jatia and many others.

Lion Subhasish Bose, a South Pointer, Member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India with the Degree of Law from Calcutta University and was in Corporate from 1993 and start Practicing as Company Secretary from 2005 till date. He is also a Member of The Institute of Internal Auditor, Calcutta Chapter and Former Chairman of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Eastern India Regional Council.
He joined Rotary International, in July 1995 and continuing till June 2021 was Past President of Rotary Club of Kasba and was Assistant Governor (Service) of Rotary International, District 3291 for many Years.
He Formed Lions Club of Kolkata Kasba in District 322B1, in the Lionistic Year 2020-21 and was the Charter President.

Lions Club of Kolkata Kasba of District 322B1 was Chartered on 14th April 2021 and the Charter Ceremony was held virtually on 15th April 2021 by the District Governor Lion Lekha Sharma. Lions Past International Director Sangeeta Jatia handed over the Kasba Club Charter to the Club President Lion Subhasish Bose in front of Past International Director Lion A. P. Singh and many other District 322B1 Officials.
